Big lab capabilities.
Small lab soul.

Your lenses come from Premier Vision Lab — a full-service optical laboratory in Salt Lake City. Premium prescription lenses, made by people you can actually call.

The people

Made here. By hand.

At national labs, your questions travel through layers — call center, account manager, regional supervisor, lab floor. By the time anyone with answers hears you, your frames have been in a queue for a week.

Premier Vision is different. The lab is owner-operated. When something matters, you talk to the person who runs the lab — not a script. That's the whole reason we built LensOnUs on top of it.

Same hands. Same standards. Same building.

The process

How your lenses get made.

Six steps, every job, no shortcuts. Plain-English version below.

Stacked lens trays organized in our Utah lab
01

Your frames arrive

An optician inspects every frame by hand before any work begins. If anything looks off, we call before we cut.

02

Free-form surfacing

Your prescription is cut into a blank on a digital free-form generator — sub-micron precision, every job.

03

Free-form polishing

Edged on MEI, fit & QC'd

Lenses are precision-edged to your frame on Italian-built MEI dry-cut edgers, then fit, lensometer-checked, polished, and packed for the trip home.
